Welcome to Class 4 All Saints (Year 5 and 6)

Welcome to our class page. We hope you enjoy looking at all our hard work!

Being prepared for school each day

Children will need their waterproof coat, a bag for reading books and a packed lunch (if required). Pencil cases and other school equipment will be provided for children by school. It is important that we limit what is being brought into school, so pencil cases and other accessories from home won’t be needed.

Break and lunch times

Children have one breaktime in the morning. For this time, they are welcome to bring a healthy snack with them to eat during break.

Forest School

Class 4 have forest school every 12 weeks during term time. They will need to bring in spare clothes to get changed into at lunchtime and please remember wellies too. During the colder months we ask that your child brings a hat and gloves as they can get very cold outside.

PE

Class 4 have PE on a Friday. PE kits should be left in school for the whole week as the children will sometimes take part in sporting activities at short notice. PE kits consist of Black Joggers/leggings, white t-shirt, black jumper/hoodie and a pair of trainers.

The very soggy class 4 bike ability today!

Pupils from Mr Steane’s class had been rehearsing a special dance using ribbons over the last two weeks. On Thursday, they joined pupils from other primary and secondary schools in the CMAT Trust at the Buxton Pavilion Arts Centre to perform a musical written especially for our children, entitled, “What The Stars Mean To Us.” They had a very busy day of rehearsals and the final performance that evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Well done to them all!
